My last post was in October, so I have seriously let this blog fall behind. Tends to happen in fits and spurts. Not quite sure why that is.
I am going to try something new. I am going to give myself a deadline for my blog. I must have a new item posted on here once a week. On Monday by 11 AM.(for now PT), I must have a new entry. It may be complete rubbish, but I am trying to get back into writing something so making myself have a deadline each week may be helpful. For the next few weeks the subjects may be a bit odd as I try to get into the swing of things. I have been considering a word count. Not quite sure about that yet, so will have to think on it. I think my minimum will be 300. I think I’m going to work up to a minimum of 1000 by Christmas. That’s actually a good goal. We’re halfway through the year. I have not been doing NaNoWriMo and I used to enjoy it – even finished a few times. Not sure if I’ll be ready for this year but I won’t rule it out.
This entry isn’t going to count as my entry for next week; starting a new month, new deadlines, new goals, second half of the year, and all that.
Possible subjects: photography, dancing, music, writing, stories, crafts. I think the title of the post will be what it’s about – won’t try to get too cutesy.
In other news, I am cat-less. Boris, who was 16, was put to sleep in April. I didn't want to do it, but it was best for him and us but I still feel bad about it. And it is really weird having no cats in the apartment. But I don't miss litter box duty.
Ok, this post is a little disjointed, but next week, will hopefully be on the ball. And look, I’m off to a good start – I made my word count!
